He has previously served at UNC-Chapel Hill Graduate and Professional Student Federation (GPSF) as a senator, Student Opportunities Chair, Treasurer, and as President. Manny is excited to serve as Chair for SAGE to continue advocating on behalf of graduate and professional students.

Vice Chair:  Samantha Fuchs   Institution:  University of Texas at Austin   E-mail:  vicechair.sage@gmail.com   Bio:  Samantha Fuchs is a fifth year MS-PhD student in Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering. She has previously served in UT Austin's Graduate Student Assembly as a representative, as Legislative Affairs Director, and as President. Samantha is proud and excited to be serving as Vice Chair of SAGE because of the need to fight for the rights and welfare of graduate and professional students. She looks forward to managing best practices discussions, presidents' calls, encouraging everyone to take an active role in local and federal policy, and keeping everyone on time.

She is also currently serving as the Organizing Director for the UW Graduate and Professional Student Senate. Her master's and undergraduate degrees are all from the University of Northern Iowa.

Director of Internal Affairs:  Cody Love   Institution:  University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill   E-mail:  internalaffairs.sage@gmail.com   Bio:  Cody is a 2nd year Ph.D. student in the Department of History, focusing on indigenous communities and their strategies to maintain access rights to natural resources in colonial central Mexico. He received B.A.s in History and Creative Writing from Southeastern Louisiana University and worked as a teacher for several years before pursuing graduate education. He also represents his department as a senator in the UNC Graduate and Professional Student Federation. Cody is excited to serve SAGE by facilitating the gathering of data to be shared among student advocates and used to advance the wellbeing of all graduate students in America. He unwinds by escaping into the outdoors, playing music, and writing fiction.
